Eastside Beachside Greenbank Getaway An incredible setting awaits at this waterfront home on the shores of Whidbey Island, where you'll have gorgeous views looking east across Saratoga Passage to Camano Island and south to Mt Rainier. This is a home where you can spend your days collecting stones on the beach below and watching for eagles, otters, and orcas from the expansive back deck and lawn. The main living space is on the upper of the two floors, greeting you with a wall of picture windows that frame Puget Sound out back. It is open and full of small seating vignettes allowing you to set up a board game in one corner or watch a movie in another. Connect your phone to the sound system to listen to your tunes. Also on this floor is a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large center island, and a spacious dining area - overlooking views of the bluff and the Saratoga Strait. After a morning spent on the beach, use the gas grill and the outdoor tables to set up lunch on the back deck. As for the evenings, they're best spent around the convertible Ping-Pong /pool-table in the downstairs rec room. Ideal for a couple's getaway or extended family stay, the four bedrooms are all adorned with comfortable bedding. The primary suite has waterfront views. Just down the road is the charming Greenbank Farm. A historic dairy farm, Greenbank Farm now offers a cozy cafe, wine tasting, and artisan shopping. Behind the barn, stunning views and trails are available to enjoy. THINGS TO KNOW There is no washer/dryer. A tall staircase (100-plus steps) leads down to the beach. The record player and the woodstove in the primary bedroom are not operational. 2 dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
